SEASON 2002-2003

A warm welcome back to Celtic fans everywhere for season 2002-2203. The speculation surrounding the manager looks as if it will run and run and it’s something we are all going to have to get used to. At the moment Martin O’Neill is still the man in charge and he will hopefully lead us forward to three in a row and a place in the Champions League group stages, so sit back and enjoy what promises to be a very hectic season.

ASSOCIATION of IRISH CSCs ANNUAL DINNER DANCE

On Saturday 6th July, the Association of Irish Celtic Supporters Clubs (A.I.C.S.C.) hosts its 4th Annual Charity Dinner in the City West Hotel and Conference Centre in Dublin.

Music will be provided by "Celtic Harmony" and "Uisce Beatha" and guests will included Jim Craig and possibly one other Lisbon Lion, Martin O'Neill and members of the first team squad as well as directors and staff of the club.

Tickets cost £35 or 55 Euro and the price includes free souvenir programme and free entry to a prize draw which will be made on the evening, the top prizes of which shall be two VIP trips for two to the opening fixture of the season on the 3rd August against Dunfermline.

Previous years' events have seen a total of around £30,000 being raised for charitable causes and this year's main beneficiary is the Special Olympics which are to be held in Ireland next year. This will be the first time these games will be held outside of the U.S.A. and it will be an historic and special occasion for our country which we are delighted to be able to support. All donations are gratefully accepted.

It promises to be a great evening with over 1,000 guests expected as we celebrate another fantastic season and wish the Bhoys well for 2002-2003.

With Celtic playing two friendly matches that weekend, we also extend an invitation to our friends who will be coming from over the water into Dublin to cheer on the team.

Further information on tickets can be obtained from A.I.C.S.C. Secretary Michael Kelly via e-mail at michael.kelly@aicsc.com or by telephone at +44 (0) 7747 605930.
