THANK YOU

Previous online Affiliation quiz winner Pat McCann of the Dumbarton Shamrock CSC dropped us a thank you note last week. Just to let you know that my wife and I spent last weekend in Blackpool, courtesy of the fact that I won the Affiliation quiz at the end of last season. Our stay at Arties Hotel, Blackpool was superb and the service offered by Vinny and Margaret was of the highest standard. I would highly recommend Arties to anybody; it certainly is the only hotel in Blackpool where a true Celtic welcome is guaranteed. Last weekend was the first time in over a decade that we have been in Blackpool. We had a great time and will probably be back soon, hoping to stay at Arties. Once again thanks to the Affiliation for this opportunity to visit Blackpool, and to Vinny and Margaret for looking after us so well.

HOSPITALITY DAY

Two delegates from the Blackburn Shamrock CSC, Thomas O’Hare and Joseph Carlin who represented The Affiliation at the Livingston game have been in touch concerning their recent hospitality day at Celtic Park. The two gentlemen concerned are nearing their sixties but on the day they thought they had returned to their childhood days. They managed to get autographs from Lisbon Lions Bertie Auld & Bobby Lennox together with some of the first team squad who were not in action that day. They had a truly magnificent day out and have sent their heart felt thanks to all who made it a day never to forget.
