BELATED CONGRATULATIONS

To Martin O’Neill and his players on their magnificent achievement of three league championships out of four, hopefully now the board of directors will release the necessary funds to allow us to march on in the Champions League next season.

RONNIE SIMPSON

All at the Affiliation were like all Celtic supporters worldwide very saddened to hear of Ronnie’s untimely death last week. Ronnie attended a few of our dances and road shows in the past and he was always the perfect gentleman. He was without doubt a Celtic legend in all our eyes, a hero of the great Lisbon Lions side that beat Inter Milan to lift the European Cup in 1967. Tributes have been pouring in all week and we would like to add ours to that ever growing list. May you rest in peace Ronnie, you’ll never walk alone.

TRAVEL IN EUROPE

Whilst it’s great to follow the team in their quest for European glory one thing that we constantly get letters, e-mail’s and telephone calls about is how they fans are being ripped off by all the travel agents for their trips. Take next week’s match in Spain against Villrreal for example, for a one night stay fans are being asked to pay close on £300 per head before they purchase their match tickets, surely it’s time someone within the club had a closer look at this situation before fans start complaining to the monopolies commission.
