CONDOLENCES

The members of The Port Glasgow Emerald CSC would like to pass on their sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Docherty aged 43 who passed away suddenly last week.

John as well as being an investor shareholder  had been a member of the Port Glasgow club since it’s inception in season 1987-1988 his friends in the club are totally stunned by his untimely death and this was shown by the marvellous turnout at the wee man’s funeral.

John was very well know to supporters from various supporters clubs across the UK and Ireland as he was a frequent traveller watching Celtic playing in Europe. Messages of sympathy have come from The Hay CSC Paisley, Barrow in Furness CSC, Coventry Irish CSC and Govan Emerald CSC to mention a few. He will be very sadly missed by all who knew him, may he rest in peace. God bless you John you’ll never walk alone.

All at the Affiliation would like to pass on their belated condolences to the family and friends of ex Celtic Legend Bertie Peacock who passed away recently, another of the Celtic family who has gone but will never be forgotten.
