HOSPITALITY DAY

The Affiliation was represented by two members from The Global Hoops CSC at the recent home game against Dundee. The two representatives have asked me to pass on their thanks to all concerned for a fantastic day out. Our next hospitality day will be for the home game against Kilmarnock scheduled for Saturday 6th November 2004; our representatives will be from the Teeside and Darlington Hoops CSC.

AFFILIATION MERCHANDISE

We are currently awaiting some sample merchandise being manufacture including badges and clothing bearing the Affiliation logo. I should be in the position to send out catalogues showing the goods to interested clubs within the next few weeks.

HAWICK SHAMROCK CSC

BROTHER WALFRID MEMORIAL NEWS

Our thanks to everyone who have made donations thus far, special mention to Donnybhoy from Ascot in Berkshire and I.Leigh from Donabate Co Dublin for their recent kind donations to the fund. Thanks also to the folks behind the scenes at Celtic media for their help in advertising the badges on the big screens at the ground.

We will be holding a can collection for the Brother Walfrid Memorial Fund at Celtic’s home league match against Dunfermline on Saturday 25th September 2004. A new badge has been commissioned for the fund and these will be the feature of the can collection day, advance orders of the badge can be made by accessing our website and visiting the shop page. Supporters who do not have access to the internet can order by posting a cheque or postal order made payable to "THE BROTHER WALFRID MEMORIAL FUND" for a minimum donation of £1 + postage and packing per badge to Mick Dinning 5 Partridge Road, Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland PA16 7AX.

A limited number of menu cards especially made for our gala dinner are available for supporters interested in Celtic memorabilia. The card can be viewed on the shop section of the Affiliation website and are available for purchase. Any supporters interested can contact mdinning@yahoo.com for further information.

The Affiliation has fixed up a deal for fans travelling to games that may need overnight or weekend accommodation. COVENTRY HAY CSC

BHOYS OF BAKU AZERBAIJAN CSC

Some members from this club had the chance to see a Celt (John Hartson) in action last week when Wales took on Azerbaijan in a World Cup qualifier in Baku.

The guys enjoyed the game although they were a little disappointed in the result.

MEETINGS

Our thanks to Executive Director Peter Lawwell for
hosting our meeting at Celtic Park last week.

Our next meeting with regard to The Brother Walfrid
Memorial Fund takes place tonight Wednesday 8th
September 2004 at The Watermill Hotel, Paisley. A
further meeting takes place prior to Saturday’s home
match against Dundee at Celtic Park.
