WELCOME TO NEW PLAYERS

The Affiliation sends out a warm welcome to new
players Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Lee Naylor who
joined Celtic last week. Our best wishes for his
future also go to young Celt Charlie Mulgrew who moved
to Wolves. Both of our new players will play a big
part in our forthcoming group games in the Champions
League.

EUROPEAN TRAVEL FOR THIS SEASON

The Affiliation will again be looking to fix up travel
for supporters wishing to travel independently or with
Celtic’s official travel partners Thomas Cook Sport.
Details on official club travel will be published on
our website as soon as they become available.

NEW AFFILIATION WEBSITE QUIZ

A new prize winning quiz now up and running on our
website, prizes this time are the new Celtic book,
Celtic Minded 2, the prizes have been donated by the
publishers Argyll Publishing, to enter please visit
our website and answer the three Celtic FC related
question. Our thanks to the publishers for donating
the prizes. The quiz closes on Saturday 30th September
2006.

Another new prize winning quiz will be on our website
in a few weeks time. George Smith who supplied the
prize for some of last seasons quiz events will once
again hand over prize for this quiz. 

George is also in the process of producing a lifesize
painting of the latest and greatest ever Celt Jimmy
Johnstone, the painting will be going into the 7s
Restaurant at Celtic Park. George will produce prints
of the painting to raise funds for The Motor Neurone
Disease fund. Please revisit the website

looking to fix up travel for supporters wishing to
travel to the away games once we find out who our
opponents will be.
