SPL REPLY TO OUR LETTER REGARDING ISSUES REGARDING
ABERDEEN GAME IN DEC 05

Dear Mr Dinning,

I have received feedback from Aberdeen FC with regards
to your enquiry. I have been informed that there were
no home support buses executive or otherwise in the
away bus parking area. They have also indicated that
the experiment of holding back the 'old firm' support
will not be repeated following discussions between the
Club and the Police.

Kind regards
Greig Mailer

Friday, 09 December 2005
Dear Sir / Madam
I am writing as secretary on behalf of The Affiliation
of Registered Celtic Supporters Clubs regarding a few
incidents that took place at last Sunday's match 04th
December 2005 at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen in the
match between Aberdeen and Celtic.

As you will no doubt be aware the coach parking and
away supporters leaving the ground at full time as now
changed dramatically.

On the coach parking issue, the away supporters
coaches are now parked close to Aberdeen's stadium at
the price of £5 per coach but at the same time some
home executive supporters coach are parked in the same
area.

This looks as though that it could lead to some rival
trouble in the future between various SPL teams whose
supporters clubs are visiting on away journeys.

The most alarming incident however surrounds keeping
the away supporters in the ground for up to ten
minutes after the end of a game.

The thing that alarms folks is that everyone is
standing in various exit queues and waiting to leave
while the doors at the exit's are kept closed by the
local Police or Stewards, if one person was to fall or
trip on the way out this could lead to a Hillsbourgh
like disaster between all fans who trying to get out.

I would appreciate views from staff at the SPL on both
these incidents and would welcome any advice on what
will happen at future matches at Pittodrie Stadium,
Aberdeen.

Regards
Mick Dinning (secretary)
