PGE CLUB LIFT TROPHY AT CELTIC PARK

The Port Glasgow Emerald CSC lads played under the name Passport Panther in the recent 5-A-SIDE CHALLENGE in the inaugural Carling 5s finals held at Celtic Park . The final result ended up Passport Panthers 5 - 2 Nomads.

The Panthers flew out the blocks by taking an early lead and never looked back. At 4-2 the Nomads were always in with a chance but a late Panthers goal proved to be the clincher as they sealed the inaugural Carling 5s Challenge trophy with a well earned 5-2 victory.

Celtic's midfielder Paul Hartley was on hand to watch the final and dish out the prizes and looked impressed by the level of performance both finalists displayed.

So it’s well done to PGE lads, Chris Docherty, Chris Devine, Scott McDonald, Ross McDonald Chris Mckorkindale, Mark Mckorkindale & Craig Scott
